Go to the photo galleryLocated between Sortino and Ferla, we are talking about one of the most beautiful Hyblaean quarries, a UNESCO site since 2005 for its largest rock necropolis in Europe. The Anapo and Calcinara rivers flow through it, making the nature of this Nature Reserve unique, inhabited by man since ancient times and therefore rich in history. Don't miss our Water-Trekking along the rivers for an unforgettable experience.
Located between Noto and Pachino, it has been a Nature Reserve since 1984 and the spearhead of the naturalistic panorama that Sicily can offer. It represents a point of passage and resting place for the migration of birdlife, thanks to its marshes, some of which are former salt pans, which offer the best for bird-watchers. A site rich in history and famous for its beautiful and unspoiled sandy beaches enclosed by dune vegetation.
A site unknown to most, but which has nothing to envy to other renowned naturalistic sites in Sicily. Very rich in history thanks to the fact that since the Iron Age and until 1963 the site was home to the important city of Noto, destroyed by the devastating earthquake and then rebuilt 8 km away. We will guide you to discover the ancient Noto and the spectacular Cava Carosello, important both from a naturalistic point of view with the Asinaro river, and from an anthropological point of view thanks to the presence of the largest concentration of rock tanneries.
A naturalistic site of great importance located near Avola, it preserves the nature of the largest quarry on the Iblei plateau with the Manghisi/Cassibile river that has flowed through it for millennia. A Nature Reserve since 1990, the quarry is home to unspoiled riparian vegetation and offers top nature excursions with several walkable paths. Don't miss our water-trekking experience, the most beautiful and complete in Sicily.
Spectacular coastal area south of Syracuse where the Marine Protected Area has been located since 2004; it embodies a mixture of Nature, History and Legend. Very interesting from a geological point of view, the Punta della Maddalena closes the large port of Syracuse to the south, with a privileged view of Ortigia. We will tell you about the legend of the Pillirina and the historical events that see this splendid site as the protagonist, almost immersed in a crystal clear sea.
The largest protected area in Sicily, established in 1993, with its imposing mountain range that is part of the Sicilian Apennines. The natural landscape of the Nebrodi is mainly characterized by rich woodland vegetation and humid environments that favor the development of flora and fauna. Beautiful torrential waterways and perennial lakes such as the Maulazzo, the Biviere and the Treary lake. The park is also home to beautiful beech forests, among the southernmost in Europe, and a native breed of pigs. There are many paths and experiences to live, in short, a true spectacle of Nature!
